Belarusian industrial companies will increase their presence in the Krasnodar Territory

The delegation from the Krasnodar Territory visited the Republic of Belarus and took part in a joint working group meeting on cooperation led by Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus Alexei Bogdanov and Vice Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Ruppel.

«Now, our goods are represented in the Krasnodar Territory in all spheres. Traditionally, trade is the driver of growth. Our food products are available in every shop in the region, and there is a well-developed network of branded textile, clothing and footwear industry outlets. Belarus is interested in buying Kuban seeds, as well as fruit, rice, vegetables and industrial goods. I am confident that the visit of the Krasnodar Territory delegation will contribute to the successful implementation of our joint projects. I am grateful for the interest and strengthening of bilateral relations,» said Alexey Bogdanov.

At the meeting, a protocol of intentions was signed on the implementation of the investment project «Construction of a combine harvester plant in the Krasnodar Territory». This is a continuation of the project on assembling Gomselmash agricultural machinery in the Krasnodar Territory, aimed at increasing the level of its localization in the region.

Another outcome of the meeting was the signing of the agreement on building of a center for selling and servicing Belarusian special-purpose machinery in Krasnodar.

A delegation of the Krasnodar Territory led by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev is on a business visit to Belarus. The program includes visits to enterprises, business negotiations, a meeting with the leadership of the Republic.
